In a commanding showing, England secured another triumph versus Albania, with a number of players producing standout performances on the pitch.

Starting Lineup

The goalkeeper Was rarely tested required before the break but then tested from Arbër Hoxha’s curling effort. One well-timed sliding challenge on an Albanian attacker showed excellent anticipation. 6/10

Dan Burn A nuisance at set pieces, typically, perhaps is an alternative for Stones in defense rather than alongside him. One wayward pass later in the match nearly resulted in an opener from Albania. 6/10

The young full-back One more composed showing by the 20-year-old following his debut versus another side. A teammate did not capitalize on full advantage of a clever backheel behind the opposing backline. The role looks secure already. 7/10

Adam Wharton His maiden beginning for his country. Somewhat careless in possession though his inswinging set-pieces caused problems. A handy tempo-setter available to the boss to utilize versus sides that sit back. Shown a yellow for a rash tackle. Six

Declan Rice Set-pieces from corners and set-plays caused problems. Had room to move on the left but was in an offside position when the ball arrived in front of goal. Given a merited break on the hour mark. Six

Jude Bellingham Functioned in a forward position out wide and put in the hard yards. Showed moments of class and dragged a shot wide. Substituted in the closing stages by Rogers, his rival, after receiving a caution. 7/10

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with England’s clearest opportunity of the first half, his strike well saved by Thomas Strakosha. With a teammate holding position, he had to provide width out wide yet his deliveries from wide areas were inconsistent. Substituted late in the match. Six

The captain The difference-maker scoring 77th and 78th goals in an England shirt. The opener a classic poacher’s finish and the second a classy headed goal having drifted away away from the opposition. Aged 32, he’s only getting better with the national team are strong contenders in future competitions with him up top. 8

The attacker Struggled to make an impact from the left. Had a good opening following a pass from a teammate but Strakosha made the save. Rashford had a greater effect in his place. 5/10
