The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.
Former two time unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the traditional stare-down, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually happening.
